Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the New York Congresswoman, endorses for President Joe Biden on her Instagram live. She said many who want Joe Biden to step back from the race, also want to remove Kamala Harris.
Sharing her thoughts on the mounting calls against Biden to remove himself from the presidential race, and wanting Vice-President Kamal Harris to take over the position, Ocasio-Cortez said “you would be mistaken”.
She said “If you think that there is consensus among the people who want Joe Biden to leave…that they will support Vice President Harris, you would be mistaken”.
Throwing the Democrats who spoke out against Biden – asking him to drop out of the presidential race – under the bus, she said they care about the donors of the party and not the voters.

She said all she hears was “my donors this and my donors that”, and nothing about “my voters this and my voters that”.
She also slammed Democrats for giving anonymous quotes to the press. Calling it “bull****”, she asked those who anticipate a loss to Trump to give up their seats.
“If they’re going to come out and say all their little things on background, off the record, but they’re not going to be fully honest, I’m going to be honest for them. I’m in these rooms. I see what they say in conversations”, said the Democrat.
The Democratic Rep. said she is not “a Biden campaign chairperson”, and there are a bunch of things that she don’t agree with, things that she find “totally horrific”. She said that she is not there with any “ulterior motives”, and for personal gains.
Ocasio-Cortez also commented on the Democrats rooting for Vice President Kamala Harris to take over the steering from Biden. She said, “if you think that a lots of folks in the position are defaulting the Vice President…that should not be taken for granted”.

However, throughout her live, she kept saying that she “could be completely wrong”.
Last week, the Congresswoman told reporters that she had talked with Biden and she support him on the Presidential run. “I have spoken to the president over the weekend. I have spoken with him extensively. He made clear then, and he has made clear since, that he is in this race. The matter is closed. He had reiterated that this morning. He has reiterated that to the public. Joe Biden is our nominee. He is not leaving this race. He is in this race and I support him”, she told press.
She highlighted Trump’s recent convictions in the New York court. She said, “Now what I think is critically important is that we focus on what it takes to win in November. Because he is running against Donald Trump, who is a man with 34 felony convictions – that has committed 34 felony crimes. And not a single Republican has asked for Donald Trump to not be the nominee”.
