"Game, Set And Match": Elon Musk Takes Trump As Winner Already?

Washington DC, US: “Game, set and match,” Elon Musk said as Republican Donald Trump was projected to defeat his Democrat rival Kamala Harris in the close-edged race. The expression that Musk used is commonly used after a tennis match to indicate that a competitor has won.

Musk has backed Trump and said earlier today that he planned to spend election night with the former President.

Musk has thrown millions in backing the Republican since endorsing him in July. Reportedly, he also donated at least $118 million to his political action committee, an organization that collects funds for elections.

Musk also said that US is the nation of builders and “soon you will be free to build”.

He also shred picture of himself talking with Trump, and Dana White, the CEO of Ultimate Fighting Championship, donning formal suits and having a talk at a party like set up. Apparently, they are at the Palm Beach County Convention Center event in Florida for an election results watch party, where Trump was expected to give an address.

Trump, 79, has pledged to make the United States the “bitcoin and cryptocurrency capital of the world” and to put tech Musk in charge of a wide-ranging audit of governmental waste.

The 2024 election is historic if Harris wins. She will be the first woman, woman of colour, and South Asian American to be the US President. The Indian-American is the first female Vice-President.

At the same time, if Trump wins, he would be the only president to be impeached twice and the first former president to be criminally convicted. He would also become the first president to win non-consecutive terms in more than a century.

Donald Trump has won several strongholds, including Florida, while Kamala Harris has taken a number of eastern states. US networks have projected that Trump, 79, is having a lead, while Harris, 60, is close behind.
