A devastating suicide explosion struck a mosque in Pakistan”s troubled Balochistan province on Friday, resulting in the tragic loss of at least 52 lives and leaving over 50 individuals wounded. The attack occurred as worshippers were preparing to commemorate Milad-un-Nabi or Prophet Muhammad”s birthday, as reported by local authorities.
In a separate incident in Pakistan, several hours later, another blast rocked a mosque in Hangu city, located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, claiming the lives of at least four people and causing injuries to 12 others.
According to City Station House Officer Mohammad Javed Lehri, the Mastung district was struck with the heartbreaking incident, with an explosion near Madina Mosque on Al Falah Road during a large gathering of people who had assembled to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi.
