To make the reporting process easy and fast, the Royal Oman Police has provided a dedicated WhatsApp number: 77720078.

Residents who spot drones or suspicious aerial objects are requested to:

  • Share the exact location of the sighting.

  • Attach a clear photograph, if possible.

  • Provide any relevant details that may assist authorities

The ROP said that including accurate information will help speed up verification and response measures.

Authorities have also strongly advised the public not to circulate or publish any videos or photos of drone sightings on social media platforms.

Officials warned that sharing such content online could create unnecessary panic or spread unverified information. Instead, all material should be sent directly to the authorities through the official reporting channel.

The call for vigilance comes amid heightened security awareness across the region. The Royal Oman Police emphasised that community cooperation plays a key role in strengthening national security.
