Taylor Swift Endorses Kamala Harris For Presidential Election
Taylor Swift endorses Democratic candidate Kamala Harris for the upcoming US Presidential election. The pop-star took to her social media account and said that she will vote for the US Vice President during the election. The post came soon after the first debate between Harris, and Republican candidate Donald Trump.
In her statement, she urged the voters to educate themselves and be aware of what are the issues at hand and the stances the candidates take on the topics that matter to them the most.
Her post included a picture of her with a cat. The star’s statement was signed off as “childless cat lady”, a visible dig at Trump’s running mate JD Vance.
In her statement, Swift mentioned the Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated images of her endorsing for Trump, which was apparently posted by Trump on his social media account. She said the incident raised her fears around AI, and has decided to be transparent about her actual plan for the election.

“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election”, she wrote.
She said she came to the decision to vote for Harris after her research, and asked people to do their own research and choose.
Swift ended her statement with, “Taylor Swift, Childless Cat Lady”.

In an interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Vance said that the country was run by “a bunch of childless cat ladies”. He took the names of Kamala Harris and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez aka AOC while making the remarks.

He said US was run by “a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too”.
The remarks were made in 2021. However, as the video resurfaced recently, Vance faced wrath of the “Swifties”. Taylor Swift, who is not a mother, is a proud cat mom. She is known to have many cats including a Ragdoll cat named Benjamin Button, and two Scottish Folds, named as Olivia Benson, and Meredith Grey.
