Venezuela Earthquake: Death Toll Nears 1500, Over 50,000 Still Missing

Venezuela: Venezuela’s twin earthquake disaster has caused a massive death toll in the country, with over 1500 confirmed dead and over 50,000 reported still missing as rescue efforts are underway.

Bodies are being recovered from under the debris of the collapsed buildings. The magnitudes of the 7.2 and 7.5 earthquakes on Wednesday devastated the South American nation as one of the country’s worst natural disasters in over a century.
