You Are Literally An Immigrant: AOC To Musk

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took a jibe at Space X owner Elon Musk. Responding to Joe Biden’s move to granting amnesty to illegal migrants, Musk said the Democratic Party’s goal is to “import voters”. Cortez replied back to the X (formerly twitter) owner and said , “you’re literally an immigrant”.

She also reminded everyone “saying “yeah, but legal!!” may I once again remind you that seeking asylum is legal, too”.

US President Joe Biden said he is currently considering granting amnesty to illegal migrants as a bid to tackle the worsening migration crisis, said Politico. People familiar with the issue told Politico that Biden administration is weighing down on ideas to take tougher stance on the border crisis and illegal immigration.

The plan would allow migrants who have been in the country for more than 10 years the cancellation of removal programme, if they have relatives who would suffer if they were deported from the country. Migrants would then access to a green card, which is a permanent residence card, if the immigration judge rules in their favour.

Elon Musk has been a vocal critic of Joe Biden’s immigration policy. Last month he criticized Biden administration’s policy on border crisis by sharing his mother Mayee Musk’s challenging experience in obtaining American citizenship. Maye Musk had recently shared her not-so-smooth experience to obtain US citizenship on X.

Responding to his mother’s post, the Tesla owner said, “Biden’s strategy is very simple: 1. Get as many illegals in the country as possible. 2. Legalize them to create a permanent majority – a one-party state”. He further asked, “What’s the point of being a citizen if an illegal gets all the benefits, but doesn’t pay taxes or do jury duty?”
