2025 Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark Launched At Rs 9.97 Lakh; More Affordable Than Standard Icon

The Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark has been launched at Rs 9.97 lakh (ex-showroom, India), making it the most affordable Ducati on sale in India. The Dark is essentially a blacked-out version of the Scrambler Icon and is mechanically identical to it.

The 803 cc air/oil-cooled L-twin engine that powers the Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark is set to provide 73 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 65 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. A fast shifter coupled with a six-speed gearbox transfers this power to the wheel. All of this is contained within a USD fork and a preload adjustable mono-shock, all of which are made by Kayaba, and a tubular steel trellis frame. An 18-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear tire with Pirelli rubbers help the machine maintain its ground. Considering everything, the bike weighs 176 kg when wet.

The Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark is distinguished by its blacked-out body, a design that extends to the engine and other cycle components. The addition of a smoked headlamp lens completes this. The absence of the tin beneath the seat cowl is the other obvious difference from the original design. Customers can select from a wide range of accessories for their motorcycles if they wish to make them even more distinctive. Options for seats, exhausts, and colored covers are all included. In the meantime, the seat height remains at 795 mm, with the option to lower it to 780 mm.

To make riding easier, the 2025 Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark also has a TFT display, ride-by-wire technology, and rider aid features including traction control, cornering ABS, and more.

The Dark’s 803cc V-twin engine, which produces 73 horsepower and 65.2 Nm of torque, is still air/oil cooled because it is mechanically identical to the Scrambler Icon. Comparing the Icon Dark to other big-capacity motorcycles in India, it weighs 176 kg (wet weight, without fuel). The 795mm seat height, which can be lowered to 780mm or even 810mm with the optional seats, helps with its manageability factor.

The electronics package, cycle components, and main frame of the Scrambler Icon Dark are all the same. The Scrambler’s second edition now includes traction control, cornering ABS, ride-by-wire, and a TFT display.
