Ather has added new features and increased range to its sporty 450 line of electric scooters. The 450S is priced at Rs 1.30 lakh, followed by the mid-range 450X 2.9 at Rs 1.47 lakh and the top-tier 450X 3.7 at Rs 1.57 lakh.
With a slightly quicker 375W charger (compared to the previous model’s 350W unit), the new Ather 450S now costs Rs 4,400 more than it did previously. Compared to the prior model, this leads to quicker charging times. The Pro Pacl on the 450S is now priced at Rs 14,000, which is a thousand rupees higher than it was previously.Most features on an Ather e-scooter come bundled in with the Pro Pack so this is worth bearing in mind.
Both variants of the 450X now get Magic Twist and Traction Control (both are adjustable with various levels) as well as two new colours. The 450X 2.9 has seen the biggest hike, at Rs 6,400, but Ather now sells this scooter with the faster 700W charger, which has almost halved the charging time.

The price of the flagship 450X 3.7 has increased by just Rs 2,000, and other from the new colours and features, it is still the same as the previous model. Magic Twist has two levels on this top model (Low and High), but it can only be turned on or off on the bottom 450X 2.9.
Although the costs of the two 450X models have altered, the Pro Pack will still cost you Rs 17,000 for the 2.9kWh model and Rs 20,000 for the 3.7kWh version. Additionally, two new colours have been added: Stealth Blue and Hyper Sand. While the latter is available on both Ather 450s, the former is exclusive to the 450X.
In order to provide consumers more options, the 450X is being released alongside the 450S. It has a range of 115 or 145 kilometres and is available in 3kWh and 4kWh capacities. The company also claimed that the 7-inch DeepView Display, which has 18-segment characters, an industry-leading 1000:1 contrast ratio, and an auto-brightness function that was first in the industry, will provide better reading all day long.
The DeepView Display’s on-board navigation offers more than eighteen directional possibilities, making it easy for users to navigate even in a difficult eight-way roundabout.

The 450S and 450X come with a joystick, two new switches, one-click reverse, and updated switchgear with improved tactile feel. In order to increase the battery’s range, the 450S also features a coasting regen feature that slows the vehicle down when it is at a steady coast.
