With new models being introduced every month, the Indian EV industry has been booming. Nonetheless, sales of EV passenger cars decreased little in November, falling to 8,596 units from 11,165 in October 2024. As the year draws to a close, automakers and dealers are promoting specials on nearly every model with alluring discounts and perks. Here are some alluring savings that are now available in India on popular electric vehicles and SUVs.
December 2024 Tata Motors EV subsidies
With all of its models offering enticing discounts and incentives this month, Tata Motors has one of India’s largest EV lineups. Up to Rs 1.15 lakh in discounts and perks are available for the Tiago EV and Tigor EV for year 2024, including exchange bonuses for certain models. However, the Tiago EV and Tigor EV for year 2023 receive significantly larger discounts of about Rs 2 lakh in addition to an extra exchange incentive of up to Rs 1 lakh, contingent on inventories.

The Punch EV is discounted on MY24 vehicles, with cheaper variants costing Rs 25,000 and the highest variant costing Rs 70,000. Keep in mind that exchange incentives are also included in these advantages for some variations. Despite the fact that there are no official discounts for the Nexon EV for year 2024, we have heard that certain dealers are providing incentives based on unsold inventory. Tata Motors is providing pre-facelift Nexon EV Prime and Max versions for year 2023 at a staggering Rs 3 lakh discounted. The updated MY2023 Nexon EV is expected to save about Rs 2 lakh.
December 2024 MG Motor India EV subsidies
There are several discounts on the MG Comet, with some places offering up to Rs 75,000. We have been informed that this figure may be higher for stores that have a greater quantity of unsold inventory. Similarly, depending on supplies, dealers are providing discounts for the ZS EV ranging from Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2.25 lakh. Discounts are not available on the recently released MG Windsor EV.

Discounts on Mahindra EV SUVs for December 2024
With incentives of Rs 3.10 lakh on both battery choices, the XUV400 is the only Mahindra electric SUV that is currently on sale. The XUV400, a slow-selling electric SUV, is competitive with vehicles like the MG and Nexon EV.
