Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato Makes Its Way To India

The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato, an off-road variant of the Huracan EVO, was introduced in India by Lamborghini in December of last year. After a ten-month wait, the first Sterrato unit has been delivered in the country. This exclusive model, limited to just 1499 units worldwide, features a Matte Grey exterior finish and distinctive blacked-out wheels, giving it a rugged appearance.

The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato builds upon the foundation of the standard Huracan EVO but offers increased ground clearance and updated dynamics. It is equipped with an enhanced version of the LDVI (Lamborghini Integrated Vehicle Dynamics) system, which includes specific STRADA and SPORT settings and a new RALLY mode designed for low-traction conditions.

Under the hood, the Sterrato is powered by the same 5.2-liter V10 engine found in the Huracan EVO, generating 604 bhp and 560 Nm of torque. Power is distributed to all four wheels through a 7-speed gearbox with the assistance of a rear mechanical self-locking differential. In terms of performance, the Sterrato accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 240 km/h.

The exterior design of the Sterrato reflects its adventurous nature, featuring a 44mm higher ground clearance than the standard Huracan. To enable greater suspension travel, the front and rear tracks have been widened by 30mm and 34mm, respectively. Additionally, the vehicle incorporates aluminum underbody protection, reinforced sills, a rear diffuser, and robust wheel arches, emphasizing its muscular appearance. The rear hood houses a classic air intake that enhances both the car”s sporty character and its ability to supply clean air to the engine when driving on dusty tracks.

Inside, the Huracan Sterrato boasts exclusive Alcantara Verde Sterrato upholstery, following the “feel like a pilot” philosophy typical of the Huracán lineup. The Human Machine Interface (HMI) features new graphics and special driving features, such as a digital inclinometer with pitch and roll indicators, a compass, geographic coordinate indicator, and steering angle indicator. Customers can also personalise the vehicle”s appearance through the Lamborghini Ad Personam program, which offers a choice of 350 external colors and over 60 colors for leather and Alcantara interiors.
