Royal Enfield, the ‘oldest continuous-production motorcycle manufacturer in the world,’ have unveiled the picture of their all new Himalayan 452 on their X handle with the title, “the only constant in the Himalayas is change.” The new Himalayan has been built upon the earlier version of the same.

The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 has undergone extensive revisions from fuel tank to its rear end as it keeps up the rugged and tall stance, expecting a launch in the coming month, November. The appearance of the unveiled Enfield gives a three-quarter front profile with a white exterior resembling the Himalayas itself. The front fender shares the same shade. The decals on the fuel tank can be seen designed in a camouflaged fashion, Cartoq reported on the new bike.

There is a transparent visor, round headlamp, with a high mounted body. The new fuel tank, revised and restyled, appear bigger, slanted than before and curvaceous, yet keeping its tubular form. There are smaller and sleeker side panels and an updated tail with new LED turn indicators. The rear would also be equipped with mono-shock. The current console which is part digital would have an overhaul into new console which would be fully digital and rounded. The split seat is retained and a stubbier new exhaust pipes comes with the new Himalayan.

Over the Himalayan 411, a major upgrade would be its liquid cooling for its engine – a bigger single cylinder 452cc engine, expected to bring in a maximum 40 bhp output. The radiator will be held below the front part of the fuel tank. Another upgrade would be with the suspension setup, with the unveiled preview showing upside down front forks. New electronics, like traction control and slipper clutch would also become additions along with enhanced break system.

The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 could become a formidable game changer for KTM 390 Adventure and BMW G 310 GS as it arrives in November.
