Volkswagen recently unveiled the Virtus GT Plus Sport, a concept stage sedan expected to hit the market later this year, during the 2024 annual conference of Volkswagen India. Alongside other announcements, including the highly anticipated ID.4 electric SUV and updated versions of existing models like the Taigun, Volkswagen introduced the Virtus GT Plus Sport as part of its strategy to expand its GT range offerings in India.

In terms of design, the Virtus GT Plus Sport deviates from its predecessor, the GT Plus Chrome trim, by embracing a sleek, all-black aesthetic, enhancing its sporty appeal. The chrome elements present in the GT Plus Chrome trim are replaced with gloss black accents throughout the exterior, including the front grille, bumper, rear bumper, diffuser, and even the roof.
