Blinkit, a leading quick-commerce platform in India has released a series of data that provides unprecedented insights into India’s New Year’s Eve shopping behaviour.

According to Blinkit’s data, the biggest party order of the day was placed from Kolkata with a staggering value of Rs 64,988. Taking to social media, CEO Albinder Dhindsa shared the whopping number on the X platform.

Furthermore, he shared data revealing a surge in condom orders, as it rose by flavour witnessing a notable trend with chocolate and strawberry as the most popular choices on New Year’s Eve, accounting for 39.1% and 31.09% of total orders, respectively.

Albinder Dhindsa also shared the data on several milestones achieved on New Year’s Eve, including the highest-ever orders in a day, highest orders per minute (OPM), and highest orders per hour (OPH).
