Dr. BR Ambedkar University, Delhi (AUD) has introduced a master”s program in public policy and governance for the academic session 2024-25. Admission to the course will take place via the NTA’s Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Interested individuals can visit the university’s website to get more information about the program. Ambedkar University, Delhi was ranked among the top ten universities across the nation.
The university has launched the brochure for the academic year 2024-25. On this occasion, the University’s Vice Chancellor Anu Singh Lather discussed the newly launched course and several other initiatives taken by the institution. She said that the course has 60 seats and that the classes will be held in the Karampura campus from June 30 onwards. The VC said in a press conference that over 3 lakh students applied for the UG courses in the university and nearly 89,773 candidates applied for the PG courses.
Notably, 85 percent of the seats in the university are reserved for Delhi students while the remaining 15 percent are for students from other places. Moreover, from this session orphan quota has also been introduced and one seat will be reserved for this category. Additionally, the fee waiver will also be given under the orphan category.
The VC also highlighted the Competence Enhancement Scheme short courses of 6 months duration. Students will receive credits for the courses which get added to their Academic Bank of Credit Account and used to pursue higher education.
The university has also introduced a provision of scholarships to the PhD scholars under its MRF scheme to the merit holders. The allowance will be equivalent to the UGC Junior Research Fellowship. Furthermore, those without NET and JRF will also receive an allowance of Rs 16 thousand per month.
