CBSE Issues Advisory To Use Only Official Websites For Correct And Up-To-Date Information

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notification to inform students against the outdated links and unverified news circulated by certain portals and websites.  It said that the links and news related to sample question papers, curriculum, CBSE resources, and activities are making rounds on social media that falsely claim to provide updated information regarding session 2024-25.

“It has come to our notice that certain online portals and websites are circulating outdated links and unverified news related to Sample Question Papers, Curriculum, CBSE resources, and activities. These links and news falsely claim to provide updated information for the session 2024-25″, the board said.

The central board asked schools, students, and parents to rely only on the CBSE official website for information and updates. In this regard, the CBSE board said, “In the interest of the public, we wish to emphasize that information from unauthorized sources can be misleading and may cause unnecessary confusion among schools, students, parents, and other stakeholders. It is hereby advised to refer only to the official CBSE website for authentic information and updates regarding CBSE”.

The board asserted to use the CBSE main official website – cbse.gov.in – for specific information, government initiatives, announcements, circulars,
notices etc. related to the CBSE.

The CBSE urged to follow only CBSE official website and some other given websites or microsites for correct and up-to date information.
