The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kashipur is set to conduct the Common Admission Process (CAP) 2024 for flagship MBA/PGP programmes to prestigious IIMs. This year the top 10 CAP participating IIMs are IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu, IIM Kashipur, IIM Nagpur, IIM Raipur, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Tiruchirappalli and IIM Udaipur.

Every year in October, CAP-participating IIMs announce a tentative cut-off to shortlist candidates for Personal Interview (PI). However, the final cut-off is notified after the announcement of the Common Admission Test (CAT) result. Applicants are contacted for the next round of Personal Interviews (PI) if they applied to at least one of the IIMs taking part in CAP. Notice that CAP 2024 applies to the IIMs that started operating in 2010–11 and the new IIMs that started operating in 2015–16.

The CAT 2023 cut-off is the only criterion for shortlisting for CAP 2024.  Only the percentile cut-offs are used to determine the shortlisting.

This year, in order to make it more convenient for candidates who live far away, the CAP 2024 Personal Information will be conducted online.

This year, Under the CAP 2024 following cut-offs are decided to shortlist candidates for Personal Interview (PI) process after the announcement of the result:

IIM Kashipur will begin sending out email notifications to candidates who have been shortlisted for PI in the second half of January. Following the notice, candidates can confirm their participation in the next round through the PI registration page. To participate in the PI process under CAP 2024, registration is mandatory.

Candidates will also have the opportunity to fix any errors they made when filling out the CAT form that are relevant to their educational background or professional experience. The normalised Personal Interview scores will be displayed after the release of the final merit list.
