Delhi University has confirmed the admission to 74,108 seats including 764 under the supernumerary quota for single girl child applicants. The single-girl child quota reserves one seat in each programme across Delhi University colleges.
Under the supernumerary quota introduced last year to support students affected by COVID-19, 132 seats have been allocated to orphan students. The orphan quota reserves one seat each for male and female candidates.
Notably, Delhi University reserves a percentage of seats for undergraduate courses under the supernumerary quota in all of its colleges. This quota for different categories includes children/widows of Personnel of the Armed Forces (CW), Single girl children, and ECA and sports. Through the Single girl child quota, which started in the 2024-25 academic sessions, one seat in each undergraduate and postgraduate program is reserved for single girl students.

The university has also released the third round of the admission list. However, 28,810 students have applied to upgrade better college and course combination for the 2024-25 academic session. And 45,298 students have frozen their admission by accepting the allocations.
Admissions to the latest phase were offered via performance-based programmes and supernumerary quotas, including those for children of widows of armed forces personnel (CW), and special achievements in extracurricular activities (ECA) and sports. According to the university data, ECA allocations stood at 1061, sports at 1,648, and performance-based allocations at 332.
The seat allotment for Bachelor of Fina Arts (BFA) and CW category are still pending and will be announced next.
