The University of Delhi (DU) has announced the seat allocations under the first round for undergraduate programs for the academic calendar 2024-25. The admissions are invited to 71,600 seats in 69 colleges, departments, and centres to 1559 programs and college combinations.
As per the data given by Delhi University a total of 2,45,287 candidates applied under phase one of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for the Undergraduate programs. From the recorded candidates under phase one, a total of 1,85,543 applicants have completed phase two under CSAS and submitted their preferences for the program and college combinations. The Delhi University received a total of 1,72,18,187 preferences.

Candidates who got listed under round one are advised to log in to the dashboard and accept the allocation till Sunday, August 18 up to 4:59 PM. The fee submission has to be done by August 21 by 4:59 PM. Those candidates who complete the process by submitting the fee will be able to opt for ‘Upgrade’ to the subsequent rounds for admission.
The University has also added a feature on the dashboard where students can check cutoff and rank details that determine the allocation of a seat using the category and quota of the candidate.
Delhi University will also release the common rank, program-specific CUET score, cut-off score, and cut-off rank for all the programs. Allocation will be done through the unique common rank. Candidates having scores equivalent to the cut-off are not guaranteed admission to the University Programs.
The CUET scores is used to allocate seats to various undergraduate programs at the University of Delhi for the academic session 2024-25. The marks obtained in class 12th are to be used to break tie in the CUET scores, if needed.
