Karnataka NEET UG 2024 Counselling Portal Reopens Till August 19

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has reopened the registration portal for the new registration and allows candidates to link their NEET UG 2024 roll number to the KCET 2024 counselling for admission to medical, dental, and AYUSH courses. The KCET 2024 counselling for the Medical admission has been extended till August 19, 2024. The KEA said that the registration portal is reopened in response to the requests from candidates and parents.

Those who have qualified for the NEET UG 2024 examination can apply for counselling and make a fee payment. Those already registered can link their roll numbers through the KCET official website – cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. “Qualified candidates can now register, apply online, and pay the fees. Those who are already registered do not need to register again”, KEA’s official notification said.

The OCI (Overseas Citizens of India), PIO (Persons of Indian Origin), NRI (Non-Resident Indian) candidates, foreign nationals and NRI wards, and those in category -2 to category 8, who applied for St. John Medical College, Bangalore have been instructed to visit the KEA office in person on August 19 from 11 AM to 2 PM.

Candidates who missed the document verification held on August 7, 9, 12, and 15 are also called to appear for the verification on August 19. All the candidates are advised to present their documents.

As per the National Medical Commission (NMC) and National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) guidelines, all counselling rounds will be conducted online mode by the KEA. Therefore candidates applying for admission to UG Medical, Dental, and AYUSH courses in Karnataka must register online.

This is the last opportunity for candidates to register, as per the KEA.
