As of January 31, 2024, the Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) portal had over 1.45 crore registrations, marking a historic milestone. The portal is creating an impact on mobilizing the youth towards constructive and transformative achievements.
As per the government information, the user-friendly interface has made this possible by enabling registration to be finished in a matter of minutes.
According to the government, on the occasion of National Youth Day on January 12, 2024, pan-India over 1 lakh young volunteers collaborated with the traffic police to assist road safety and traffic management.
Youth across the country can register on MY Bharat portal to sign up to check the availability of opportunities and events.
On January 27, 2024, talking to NCC and NSS volunteers about the enthusiasm and overwhelming response by youth to the MY Bharat portal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said it the largest platform for the twenty first century.
Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) platform for country’s youth was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on National Unity Day i.e, on October 31, 2023. The portal aims to play a pivotal role for technology-driven development of youth and youth-led development. It envisions to provide equitable opportunities to empower youth and contribute to the creation of a “Viksit Bharat”, a developed India.
The platform is a dynamic ‘Phygital Platform’ (Physical + Digital) comprising physical activity along with digital window to connect. MY Bharat has emerged as a significant tool for youth development providing diverse array of opportunities, events and volunteering activities. Youth can volunteer with Police, Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and various Ministries.
To increase its effect even more, MY Bharat plans to launch new services and projects. The platform is eager to increase its offers in developing industries and strengthen its ties to young organizations and educational institutions.
