New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class 10 Hindu exam today, March 2. The examination was conducted between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm across various exam centers in India.

Faculties and students have shared their feedback on the exam. According to Maya Lohani, Head of the Hindu Department at Delhi’s Army public school, the paper was of moderate level, and the questions were mostly direct and syllabus-based, but required clear understanding and good expression skills.

The paper maintained a balanced focus on Literature, Grammar, and Writing Skills, and was well aligned with the CBSE blueprint and strictly within the prescribed syllabus, the HOD added.

Vimla Ahuja, a Hindu faculty member in the school, opined that an average student (usually scoring 60–70%) is likely to score around 50–60 out of 80, noting that grammar and unseen passages were easier, while long-answer literature questions were comparatively challenging.

“The paper was similar in standard to previous years in terms of difficulty, length, and pattern,” Ahuja said, adding that there were no major surprises.

However, Manisha Tripathi, another Hindi faculty member at the school, said that some analytical and descriptive questions required deeper understanding and proper time management.

“Overall, the question paper was well-structured, balanced, and tested comprehension, writing ability, and conceptual clarity effectively,” the experts concluded, adding that most of the students found the paper satisfactory and manageable, though a little felt the literature section was small.
