IIM Lucknow Reaches Out To Alumni To Help With Placements Of 72 Candidates
As per screenshot shared by a verified X user, IIM Lucknow reached out to alumni of the 2011 batch for assistance to its 72 students who are unplaced and seeking employment opportunities. This comes amid the reports that various premier management and technological institutes in the country are facing difficulties in complete placements of their talent.
The information with respect to the current situation regarding unplaced students was purportedly shared by IIML via a WhatsApp group, IIML Entrepreneurs. The screenshot of the information shared on ‘X’ read, “Dear Batch of 2011, we are writing to address the current situation regarding unplaced students from our batch. We are reaching out to our alumni of the 2011 Batch for assistance”.
IIM Lucknow is reaching out to alumni to help them with placements.
It is “crucial to maintain the legacy of IIM Lucknow’s 100% placement record”.
It isn’t about 5-10 people but 72 candidates at IIM-L do not have a job.

IIML further asked alumni to use unique connections and networks to help in placing students. “If you are aware of any job opportunities or have connections within your professional network that align with the skill sets of our 2024 batchmates, please consider referring them or inform us about potential openings”, the text read.

According to the IIM Lucknow 2022-24 placement report, institute completed 100% placements by securing 570 offers for 566 students and placing students across different sectors and roles including consulting, finance, general management, IT & Analytics, sales & marketing, operation & retail e-commerce globally.
The highest ever average and median stipends of Rs 1.41 lacs per month and Rs. 1.50 lacs per month respectively and with a maximum stipend of Rs. 3.50 lacs per month were successfully achieved, the placement report mentioned. Around 185 plus recruiters participated in the Summer Placement Process in these years.
Notably IIM Lucknow is one of the old IIMs and considered to be one of the top 5 colleges in the country.
