BJP has started to celebrate at the party headquarters in the National Capital, Delhi. The reason for the celebration is obvious. Out of four states, which are waiting for the result of 2023 assembly election, BJP is leading in three states, with a mammoth lead in Madhya Pradesh. Since the beginning of vote counting, BJP and Congress has been indulged in an intense battle. currently it is 3-1, with BJP leading.

Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh seem to decide on presenting themselves as a forte for BJP. The party have a clear and comfortable margin in Madhya Pradesh. Rajasthan too seems to be ready to bid goodbye to the outgoing Ashok Gehlot government. Chhattisgarh also revealed their stance to be close to BJP than Congress. Telangana is the only state where Congress may find hope.

The neck-to-neck contest between the two largest national party is nearing its end. In Madhya Pradesh, BJP is all set to practice power once again with a comfortable margin of 100 seats. As per the trends released by Election Commission of India, BJP and Congress have a stark contrast in the number of seats. While Congress has gained 65 seats, BJP is far ahead with 162 seats.

In Rajasthan, the difference between BJP and Congress is huge. While Congress won 70 seats so far, BJP has garnered 113 seats, as per the reading from the Election Commission of India. Another aspect of the Rajasthan assembly result is that independent candidates has gained a total of eight seats so far. In Chhattisgarh, the trend is not different from the Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan in case of BJP winning majority. So far BJP has won 55 seats while Congress is in the backseat with 32 seats. BJP is likely to come back to its forte of 15 years before Congress toppled it in 2018 assembly election.

Telangana appears to be the only safe haven for Congress now. In their battle between the incumbent BRS and Congress, Congress is at the front with 63 seats while BRS is behind the grand old party with 41 seats.
