Barkatha Election Result 2024: JMM's Janki Prasad Yadav Running Ahead With 7327 Votes

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha candidate Janki Prasad Yadav is running ahead ofv BJP Amit Kumar Yada with 7327 votes.

A total of 8 candidates constested for the Barkatha Assembly seat in the 2024 Jharkhand Assembly election. In the 2024 Jharkhand Assembly election, Barkatha voted on November 13, 2024 and the counting of votes held on November 23, 2024. There were a total of 3,87,847 voters on the electoral rolls for the Jharkhand Assembly election  2024 in Barkatha Assembly constituency – 2,00,990 were male, 1,86,854 female and 3 of the third gender.

In the 2019 Jharkhand Assembly elections, Amit Kumar Yadav of IND won in this seat defeating Janki Prasad Yadav of BJP with a margin of 24,812 that is 11.72% of the total votes cast for the seat. IND had a vote share of 34.29% in 2019 in this seat.

In the 2014 Jharkhand Assembly elections, Janki Prasad Yadav of JVM won the Barkatha seat defeating Amit Kumar Yadav of BJP by a margin of 8,207 that is 4.21% of the total votes cast for the seat. JVM had a vote share of 32.51% in 2014 in Barkatha.

In the 2009 Jharkhand Assembly elections, Amit Kumar Yadav of BJP won Barkatha seat defeating Janki Pr Yadav of JVM with a margin of 9,368 (6.59%) of total votes cast. BJP had a vote share of 27.79% in 2009 in this seat.
