Prabhubhai Nadarbhai Vasava is fielded as the BJP candidate from Bardoli constituency of Gujarat. Prabhubhai who had been a Congress leader earlier joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2014.

The BJP’s first list includes 195 members. The Bardoli constituency is reserved for the Scheduled Tribes. The saffron party unveiled its candidate list showcasing a commitment to diversity and social inclusion. In a strategic move to woo the voters, the party has fielded 27 Scheduled Castes and candidates in several constituencies. 

The constituency was created as a part of the implementation of the delimitation of parliamentary constituencies. The first election was held in 2009. 

Prabhubhai under the banner of Congress contested the election in 2012 and became the MLA of Mandvi. And later in 2014, Prabhubhai joined the saffron party. 

In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, the BJP leader won from the Bardoli constituency by securing 6,22,769 votes against the Congress candidate Tushar Amarsinh Chaudhary. He repeated his win later in the 2019 general election too. By securing 7,42,273 votes against Congress candidate Tushar Chaudhary, Prabhubhai was elected as the MP. 

Born in 1970, Prabhubhai hails from the city of Kolkhadi. As for his educational qualifications, he has earned a degree from Dr.S.&S.S.Gandhi College Of Engineering & Technology (Diploma College ).

The Bardoli constituency is recognized as the richest sugar producer in the country. The economy of the constituency largely thrives on the sugar industry owing to the production of fine and superior quality sugar. The automobile industry also has a significant impression on the economy of the region.
