Jammu and Kashmir National Conference candidate Arjun Singh Raju won the Jammu and Kashmir Election Results 2024 against Suaj Singh Parihar, an independent candidate with a margin of 9013 votes in the Ramban constituency. Ramban constituency went for election on September 18, 2024, under Phase 1.
Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Elections 2024 saw participation from national party candidates, regional party members, and independent candidates. Rakesh Singh Thakur (BJP), Tilak Raj (SHS (UBT)), Arjun Singh Raju (JKNC), Chain Singh (Independent), Dev Raj Singh (Independent), Suteesh Kumar (Independent), Sunil Singh (Independent), Suraj Singh Parihar (Independent) fought this election in Ramban constituency.
In the 2014, assembly elections, BJP candidate Neelam Kumar Langeh won the Ramban seat with a total of 25,349 votes by defeating JKN candidate Dr Chaman Lal who received a total of 19,985 votes. The total votes in Ramban were 69.2% whereas the winning candidate secured a total of 42.3% votes.
In 2008 Assembly elections, INC candidate Ashok Kumar won the Ramban seat after defeating BJP candidate Bali Bhagat.
