Kerala Assembly Election 2026: Advocate K Premkumar Wins Ottapalam By Over 26,000 Votes Margin
CPI(M) candidate Adv K Premkumar has secured a decisive victory from the Ottapalam Assembly Constituency in the Kerala Assembly Election 2026, as per the Election Commission.
Representing the Communist Party of India (Marxist), Premkumar won with 75,362 votes and registered a massive margin of 26,777 votes over Independent candidate P.K. Sasi (P.K.S. S/O Padmini Amma), who finished second with 48,585 votes.
BJP candidate Major Ravi ended in third position with 42,476 votes, trailing significantly behind the top two candidates.
The result highlights a strong and clear mandate for the LDF in Ottapalam, with Adv. K. Premkumar maintaining a comfortable and consistent lead throughout the counting process. The large victory margin reflects strong voter support for the CPI(M) in the constituency.
The counting of votes was conducted under tight security arrangements, and this outcome adds to the LDF’s strong performance across multiple constituencies in the 2026 Kerala Assembly elections.
