Kerala Assembly Election 2026 :PK Navas Emerges Victorious In Tanur, Secures 27,000 Votes Lead
Kerala: Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) candidate PK Navas has secured a decisive win from the Tanur Assembly Constituency in the Kerala Assembly Election 2026, as per the Election Commission.
Representing the United Democratic Front (UDF), Navas won with 91,992 votes and registered a strong margin of 27,131 votes over Independent candidate Mohamed Sameer T. Thiruthiyil House, who finished second with 64,861 votes.
BJP candidate Deepa Puzhakkal ended in third position with 13,642 votes, trailing significantly behind the leading candidates.
The result reflects a dominant performance by the IUML in Tanur, with P.K. Navas maintaining a clear and consistent lead throughout the counting process. The substantial margin highlights strong voter support for the UDF in the constituency.
The counting of votes was conducted under tight security arrangements, and this outcome adds to the UDF’s strong showing in several constituencies across Kerala in the 2026 Assembly elections.
