Rajasthan went to polls on November 25 for 200 constituencies. In Alwar Urban election 2023, Sanjay Sharma from Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) won by securing 90504 votes. Sanjay defeated Ajay Agarwal of Indian National Congress (INC) with a margin of 9087 votes. Ajay Agarwal secured 81417 votes. Neha Sharma from Bahujan Samaj Party who came third secured 1076 votes.
In the 2018 Rajasthan election, Sanjay Sharma from Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) won the seat with 85041 votes which was 50.91% of total votes polled in the constituency. He defeated Shweta Saini from Indian National Congress (INC) who secured 63033 votes which was 37.73% of the total votes polled in the constituency.
In the 2013 Rajasthan election, Banwari Lal Singhal from Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) won the seat with 84791 votes which was 60.34% of total votes polled in the constituency. He defeated Narendra Sharma from Indian National Congress (INC) who secured 22562 votes which was 16.05% of the total votes secured in the constituency.
The 2023 Rajasthan assembly elections witnessed a tough battle between the Indian national congress (INC) and Bharatiya Janata party (BJP). According to the latest reports ,out of the total 200 seats BJP won in 115 seats and INC secured 69 seats.
