M.S. Raj Thakoor of the Indian National Congress has emerged victorious in the Ramagundam Assembly Constituency, clinching the Telangana Assembly elections for 2023 with a commanding margin. Raj Thakoor received 92,227 votes overall, according to the official results released by the Election Commission. His nearest competitor, Korukanti Chander of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), came in last with 35,433 votes. The political climate in Ramagundam has changed significantly as a result of this incredible win. The elections to Telangana state assembly was held on November 30 in 119 constituencies.

Korukanti Chandar, a stalwart representing the BRS, has been at the helm of the constituency since December 12, 2018, demonstrating astute leadership. The 2018 election results epitomized his electoral dominance, garnering 61,400 votes and a decisive 26,419-vote lead.
