A decade after it first graced the silver screen, the Malyalam movie Premam continues to live on as an emotion etched into the hearts of millions. On May 29, the iconic team behind the modern Malayalam classic reunited, sharing smiles, memories, and a whole lot of love, much to the joy of fans across the world.

Nivin Pauly, Shabareesh Varma, Vinay Forrt, Krishna Shankar, Sharaf U Dheen, and others who brought Premam’s unforgettable characters to life, came together once again to celebrate a phenomenon that changed the face of Malayalam cinema.

Written, directed, and edited by Alphonse Puthren and produced by Anwar Rasheed, Premam is a Malayalam-language romance that broke every rule in the book and made new ones in the process.

Starring Nivin Pauly as George and introducing Sai Pallavi in a star-making debut as Malar, the film also features a stellar ensemble cast including Madonna Sebastian, Anupama Parameswaran, Shabareesh Varma, Krishna Sankar, Siju Wilson, Ananth Nag, Vinay Forrt, Soubin Shahir, Sharafudheen, and more.

The story follows George’s journey through love and life, from teenage infatuation to adult introspection, exploring themes of heartbreak, friendship, and personal growth. What made Premam stand out wasn’t just its plot, but the soul with which it was told subtle and unhurried.
