Director Collin D’Cunha stated in an interview that Ananya has grown from strength to strength with each film and she is finally leading a strong role in Call Me Bae. The series will premiere on Amazon Prime on September 6 and is written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair.
The show boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Ananya in the lead role along with Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur and is produced by Dharma Productions.
