The popular TV show ‘Koffee With Karan’ returned to screen featuring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh as their first guests in the eighth season.

On the show, both talked about their relationship journey. Ranveer Singh said on the show that he met Deepika Padukone after his breakup from a long term relationship and this comment has fueled a speculation among netizens that the long term relationship was with Anushka. Anushka and Ranveer were rumoured to be dating each other in 2011 when they both appeared in season 3.

And now a video of the actress Anushka Sharma is circulating in which she explains why she will not date Ranveer Singh. In the old clip which has gone viral now, Anushka explains to Simi Garewal in the Simi Garewal’s show India’s Most Desirable.

Initially she refuses to have any relationship with the actor but when asked why they weren’t a couple, she elaborated her reasons and said, “If you know Ranveer and me really well if people get to know us really well, they realise that we’re very different people.”

Anushka then added, “We have a very volatile relationship. Yeah, we can kill each other. I’m serious, I can take his head off, he can take mine off… If we ever had to be in a relationship, we would want two different things from a relationship. We see life in a very different way. He’s a very practical person, I’m completely impractical.”

She said that she likes him and he is attractive but she can’t be in a frivolous relationship. And if she is with another man, he will have to calm her down. “Otherwise, it would not be a good relationship”.

Anushka Sharma got married to the cricketing star Virat Kohli on December 11, 2017 in a ceremony held in Italy. The couple have an adorable daughter named Vamika.
