Anushka Shetty‘s intense action film Ghaati locked its release date. In a never-seen-before avatar, the Baahubali actress is set to storm the theatres in April 2025 in the Krish Jagarlamudi directorial. With an intriguing poster, the makers reminded the audience about the terror that awaits on the film’s release.
The trailer, which was released on the actress’s birthday, offered a sneak peek of her terrific action avatar. Today the makers fuelled up the anticipation with another intense look of the actress.

So, finally the release date of the film is here. Ghaati is scheduled to hit the big screens on April 18, 2025. Expressing their confidence in their craft, the production house of the film wrote, “The Queen’, at her best, will reign at the box office. #Ghaati GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON 18th APRIL, 2025.”

The makers also dropped the teaser of the film along with the release date announcement and introduced the terrific world of Ghaati. In the teaser, Anushka, dressed in a sari and wielding a sickle, boards a bus in a rural setting. Her character, belonging to a tribal community, is seen with silver anklets and tattooed feet. A gripping scene follows as she beheads an adversary, blood splattering across her face.
She then walks away carrying the severed head. The teaser ends with a close-up of Anushka with a cigar.

Ghaati is described as a raw and intense crime drama set in the valleys of India. The film tells the story of a woman who transforms from a victim to a criminal mastermind.
This production of the UV Creations will be released as a pan-Indian film in different languages like Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
