
Music Legend AR Rahman AR Rahman Discharged From Hospital After Routine Check-Up
Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Indian legendary music composer and singer AR Rahman has been discharged from Apollo hospital in Chennai, the hospital informed on Sunday. The musician had visited the hospital with dehydration symptoms earlier the day . The Oscar-winning record producer was rushed to the emergency ward of the hospital where the doctors conducted a few tests.
The 58-year old multi-instrumentalist’s unexpected hospitalisation has left his fans worldwide extremely concerned.

The music director reportedly returned from London last night and subsequently felt unwell. News portal NDTV quoted the doctors saying that Rahman felt unwell due to dehydration as he had been fasting for the ongoing Ramadan. However, the musician is fine now, and is out of danger, according to the doctors.
Rahman’s score for Slumdog Millionaire had earned him two academy awards for best original score. His score for his first Hollywood film, the 2009 comedy Couples Retreat, won the BMI London Award for Best Score.

Apart from that, Rahman has composed music for a wide range of films in various languages, including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, English, Persian, and Mandarin.
