In the heart of Malayalam cinema, a luminary is on the rise, captivating audiences with his mesmerizing performances and unwavering dedication to his craft. Arjun Ashokan, the scion of a prestigious cinematic lineage, is poised to leave an indelible mark on the industry with his latest release, Bramayugam.

Hailing from a family deeply rooted in the world of entertainment, Arjun Ashokan’s journey to stardom has been one fueled by passion, perseverance, and an unyielding commitment to excellence.

Born on 24 August, 1992, to the legendary Malayalam actor Harisree Ashokan and his mother Preetha, Arjun Ashokan began his acting journey with his debut in the 2012 film Orkut Oru Ormakoot. It was his third film, Parava (2017), directed by Soubin Shahir, that brought him into the foyer of the Malayalam film industry.

The actor’s early career marked a string of supporting roles with notable performances in films. In B.Tech. (2018) and Unda (2019), the actor got the opportunity to work with Asif Ali and Mammootty, respectively. From here on, there was no looking back for Arjun as he starred, although in supporting roles, in several commercially successful films such as Varathan (2018), June (2019), and Super Sharanya (2021), to name a few, alongside notable actors.

However, it was the comedy-drama Jan.E.Man, released in 2021, that was Arjun’s major breakthrough film, where he displayed his comedic skills in their finest form. The actor then received commercial and critical appreciation for his cameo in the comedy-horror Romancham (2023). The actor won hearts with his portrayal of the eccentric Sinu Solomon, with the character taking over social media and dominating  pop culture conversations online.

Having displayed his father’s comedic timing and the ability to pull off serious characters as well, the versatile actor breathes life into the characters, infusing them with a depth and authenticity that resonates with audiences.

Arjun has once again, taken the internet by storm as his latest release, Bramayugam, hits theatres. This time, the actor takes on a role that pushes the boundaries of his abilities, delving deep into the complexities of his character with a nuanced grace and emotional depth that is absolutely remarkable.

The Mammootty starrer also features Sidharth Bharathan, son of filmmaker Bharathan, and actress K.P.A.C. Lalitha – both legends in their respective fields. The actor, screenwriter, and filmmaker began his career with the 2002 blockbuster Nammal, remaining on-and-off in his appearances since. Now with the black-and-white horror film, the actor is back, delivering his best performance yet.
