Deepika Padukone's New Avatar In “Kalki 2898 AD” Is Out

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone  shared the poster revealing her new avatar in the pan-India movie Kalki 2898 AD. With the much awaited trailer of the movie released today, the character poster of Padukone was also unveiled today. In the poster, Padukone can be seen looking worried, staring at something far away. The actress can be seen wearing a rugged brown costume against a backdrop of a dystopian city. Kalki 2898 AD marks her debut in Tollywood.

Sharing the epic poster on Instagram, the Jawan actress wrote, “The hope begins with her. Kalki 2898 AD trailer out tomorrow.”

Reacting to her new avatar, actor-husband Ranveer Singh expressed his excitement and commented “BOOM Stunner!”

Kalki 2898 AD, the pan-Indian epic sci-fi is directed by the renowned filmmaker Nag Ashwin. It is set in a distant, dystopian future where humanity faces unprecedented challenges. As the updates on the movie have been blowing the minds of the audience, on June 7,  Amitabh Bachchan’s new look as Ashwatthama was also revealed in a poster that was shared by the actor himself. He wrote, “Waiting yes for this great honor of being in the company of GREATS !! His wait is ending…3 days to go for #Kalki2898AD Trailer, out on June 10th (sic).”

As the movie is all set for its grand release on June 27, the sneak peek of the world of Kalki so far has fascinated the expectations of the audiences. The last trailer released by the team Kalki revealed Bujji– the futuristic car as Bhairaava’s sidekick. This pan-India movie has been produced by Vijayanthi movies and is touted to be the most expensive film in Indian cinema. The music has been crafted by Vyjayanthi Movies and the music is scored by Santhosh Narayan.
