Actor Dhanush and director Vetrimaaran, the inseparable duo of Kollywood, are teaming up again under the production of R S Infotainment. The production house also announced another possible collaboration with the sensational actor Soori.
The day marks the 25-day successful run of the latest released sequel of actor Soori and Vijay Sethupathi’s sequel, Viduthalai Part 2. The sequel, directed by Vetrimaaran, has successfully earned Rs 55 crores within its 24-day theatrical run.
Celebrating this achievement of the film, the production house RS Entertainment has announced its next upcoming project with Vetrimaaran and Soori.

As per the announcement, the production house will be collaborating with the Viduthalai Part 2 director for its next directorial, which will be it’s directorial venture No. 9. Excitingly, this project will once again bring together the celebrated duo of Dhanush and Vetrimaaran.

The iconic duo behind a series of blockbusters like Polladhavan, Vada Chennai, and the National Award-winning film Asuran is once again reuniting to bring an unforgettable cinematic experience with an in-depth creation to the screens.
Wait! The announcement doesn’t end here. Followed by the success of the Viduthalai series, RS Infotainment is once again collaborating with actor Soori for a film that will be directed by Mathimaran Pugazhenthi, who was a vital part of Vetrimaaran’s team and contributed significantly to the success of the film.

Director Vetrimaaran is also all set to start production on his upcoming film starring Suriya, Vaadivaasal. Based on a novel by C.S. Chellappa, the film is set to revolve around Jallikattu, a traditional event that takes place in Tamil Nadu as part of Pongal celebrations.
Dhanush, last seen in Raayan, will be seen in Sekhar Kammula’s Kubera, also starring Rashmika Mandanna and Akkineni Nagarjuna. He will also be seen in Idly Kadai, co-starring Nithya Menen, and an untitled film with Rajkumar Periasamy of Amaran.
