Internet Refuses To Believe Shah Rukh Khan's Clarification; Says "SRK Was Forced" To Release The Statement

Internet refused to take team Shah Rukh Khan’s clarification on the star’s involvement in the release of Indian Navy veterans. Shah Rukh Khan finds himself amidst the diplomatic affairs of Qatar and India, after a senior BJP leader claimed Khan’s involvement in the Navy veterans release from Qatar. Internet believe that the star was “forced to release the statement”. Netizens could not stop praising Shah Rukh Khan and how proud Indians are about him. Fans even took reference to Khan’s big hit Pathaan and said that “after all Pathan is an undercover agent. He just finished his job”.

BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should take Shah Rukh Khan with him after the Prime Minister posted about his visit to UAE and Qatar on his X account. Swamy said it was Shah Rukh Khan’s intervention that made the Qatari government to make “expensive settlement” of releasing the Indian Navy veterans, who were awarded with death penalties by the government. They were arrested over the charges of espionage. They reached home on February 12, after spending 18 months in Qatari prison.

Khan’s picture with Qatar Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has added weight to Swamy’s claim. After the picture went viral, Shah Rukh Khan’s team came forward with a statement that read the BJP leader’s claim was “unfounded”.

However, the internet is not ready to take SRK team’s clarification. Netizens say that Shah Rukh Khan, who the internet calls the “soft power of India”, was “forced to release the statement” as the Indian government does not want public to know what is happening behind the curtain of power and diplomacy.

One X user said Khan and his team never rushed to clarify fake news against him “no matter how harmful it is for him but they clarified this positive news swiftly bcz certain someone must want to take the sole credit for upcoming elections. Now confirmed it 100 % SRK was forced to release this statement by modi government”

Another user said that the government clearly instructed SRK and his team to put out the clarification statement, as “they wouldn”t want public to know all about this. No matter what, Shah Rukh Khan is the soft power of India and the biggest national icon of our country”.

Another one praised Khan for “working for India and not taking credit”. Another user said that Shah Rukh Khan never believed in taking credits, which is why he is denying “every single fact but deep down we all know the truth”.

A user named Guarav Pandey said, “Not everyone parades through town with pomp and show, claiming credit for everything done for the nation. There is a reason #ShahRukhKhan𓀠 is a global superstar”.

Another user named INDIAN told team SRK that it’s okay and that everyone know that “khan saab will never take the credit for the work he’s done through back channel diplomacy.. khan saab is India’s goodwill ambassador.. and we are proud of him”.

Another user said, “clarification from someone who has never issued an official clarification even when he was being targeted for things he never did or said. Praised govt twice in his clarification, we all know what happened behind the scenes. srk pride of India”.

The official statement from Shah Rukh Khan’s team was posted by his manager Pooja Dadlani. The statement read that execution of the successful resolution of freeing the Indian Navy veterans “solely rests with the Indian government officials and unequivocally denies Mr. Khan’s participation in this matter”.

Interestingly, Dadlani was criticized of being the “biggest enemy” of Khan. One user said Pooja Dadlani is someone “who takes no Action when negativity remains at its peak… now released an official statement when positivity was at its peak”, and asked Shah Rukh Khan to change his manager.
