Leo: The New Tamil Poster Is Out (image:instagram.com/actorvijay

The new poster of the much-awaited Tamil movie Leo is out. After releasing Kannada and Telugu posters, the makers released the Tamil poster on Wednesday.

In the poster, with the caption, “Keep Calm and Prepare For Battle,” Vijay is appearing in fierce expression and the sharp and fiery red color tones and design is distinct to the other two posters released. The Telugu poster of the movie is in white background where Kannada poster is set in gray. Similarly, Telugu poster carried the tagline “Keep calm and avoid the battle,” and the Kannada poster went with “Keep calm and plot your escape.” And the final Hindi poster will be released tomorrow.

The makers announced that they will be unveiling posters in four languages on consecutive days at 6 pm starting from Sunday. As per the plan, they have released Telugu and Kannada posters on Sunday and Monday respectively. On Tuesday, they have postponed poster reveal as a mark of respect to the untimely death of musician-actor Vijay Antony’s daughter.

Leo is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio, along with Jagadish Palanisamy as co-producer. The movie also features Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, and Arjun in important roles.

The music composed by Anirudh Ravichander; the first single released on YouTube, “Naa Ready”  and sung by Thalapathy is in top charts, received over 132 million views already. Similarly,  the short promo presenting Vijay and the character reveal videos of Sanjay Dutt and Arjun has also garnered much attention.

The movie is slated to release on October 19, 2023. It is Kanagaraj’s anticipated film after Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram, and movie is also special since it is for the second time, Vijay and Kanagaraj coming together after Master.
