Popular chef and television personality Madhampatti Rangaraj has entered a new chapter in his life, tying the knot for the second time with costume designer Joy Grisilda. The intimate wedding ceremony took place at a temple, attended only by close friends and family members.

Rangaraj, widely known as the host of the hit show Cook with Comali, and a chef to high-profile personalities ranging from the Prime Minister to film celebrities, has now become the centre of attention for reasons beyond the kitchen. Joy Grisilda, who has been linked with Rangaraj for several months, is six months pregnant, a detail she confirmed in a heartfelt Instagram post earlier this week.
Their relationship had been the subject of quiet speculation, especially after Joy changed her name to “Joy Rangaraj” on social media and shared a post celebrating Valentine’s Day with him.

This marks Rangaraj’s second marriage. He is already married to Shruti, with whom he shares two sons. While reports of trouble in their marriage have been circulating for some time, the couple’s divorce has not yet been legally finalised.
Notably, Shruti continues to use the name “Shruti Rangaraj” on her Instagram profile, suggesting that legal proceedings may still be ongoing.
Madhampatti Rangaraj first rose to public fame not only for his culinary expertise but also for his brief but notable acting stint in Mehandi Circus, directed by Saravanan (brother of filmmaker Rajumurugan).
