India has started celebrating Navaratri, a festival of triumph of good from October 15, 2023 onwards and will last until October 24. Navaratri is the celebration of the victory of good over evil. The celebration will last for nine days and nine nights with worshippers dedicating the night to Goddess Durga. Navaratri festival hold a prominent place in Hindu religion. Worshippers offer prayers in these nine days to the nine forms of Durga.
