Pushpa 2: The Rule Targets To Hit The Screens This December?(image-X/PushpaMovie)

Much to the dismay of fans, the arrival of the Pushpa 2: The Rule on the big screen has got delayed. Perhaps one of the most anticipated sequels starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil and more, the film will not hit the screen this August, its initial release date.

Social media has been buzzing with rumors about the indefinite postponement of Pushpa 2: The Rule in recent days. Up until now, there has been no official word from the team in this regard. Earlier the sequel was scheduled to be released on August 15.This Independence day is expected to be a visual treat for audiences with a cine pack release of Stree2, Vedaa, and  Khel Khel Mein. But now it seems the arrival of Pusha Raj has been delayed, with its release postponed.

According to the reports, since the team has a lot on their plates to wrap up, they are finding it impossible to meet the initially scheduled release date. Sarath Chandra Naidu, a close associate of Allu Arjun, disclosed that the film won’t be hitting theatres as anticipated. Fans, however, need to wait for an official announcement on the new release date.

Moreover, the team seems to be facing issues in the pre-production works with Karthika Srinivas, the original editor of the film, having left the project, with Navin Nooli, who is currently working on the final cuts of the film, taking over his role. Director Sukumar is also considering revisiting some parts of the film because of the VFX and wants to reshoot them for better quality, as per reports. If speculations are to be believed, then the sequel will aim to hit the screens this December.

However, we have to wait until any official announcements are made by the team on its release date. The big-ticket entertainer, the film has been directed by Sukumar, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, and helmed by Naveen Yerni and Ravi Shankar. The music is produced by the rockstar Devi Sri Prasad. Pushpa 2: The Rule will be released in five languages: Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and Bengali.
