Rohit Shetty's Cop Union 'Singham Again' Hits Theatres Today

Even though the entire plot of the film was revealed in the nearly five-minute-long trailer, the audience is widely anticipating the release of Rohit Shetty’s next cop installment, Singham Again. Today, as the audience celebrates Diwali, the Ajay Devgn starrer hit theatres.

Coinciding with the Diwali festival season, the film that echoes the story behind the festival of lights (Ramayana) is here to entertain the audience with a star-studded cast that includes Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff.

Presenting the union of all the cops of Rohit Shetty’s universe, Singham Again follows their mission to save a woman and serve justice. Featuring Ajay as Ram, Kareena as Sita, Tiger as Lakshman, Ranveer as Hanuman, and Arjun as a modern-day Raavan, the film promises to offer a powerpacked action ride.

With the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, on the other hand, the Rohit Shetty directorial will be witnessing a tight competition in theaters. The film was originally scheduled to be released on August 15, but along with other major films, the action flick was rescheduled to avoid any clashes.

Singham Again is the third film in the trilogy of the superhit movie Singham released in 2011, starring Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj in lead roles. The next film in the line was Singham Returns, released in 2014, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amole Gupte, Anupam Kher, and Dayanand Shetty, among others. Both the projects were box office hits.
