The movie has witnessed a grand pre-booking status, record-breaking, in the UK box office already. It is the first Indian film to open reservation in the region before 40 days and grossed over € 320K on Day 1 of booking, surpassing the record set earlier by Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. Leo UK distributers have announced it to be the number one Indian film on Day 1 UK.
The British Board of Film Certification (BBFC) designated the movie to a bloody-violent-sexually assaultive catalogue. Leo, a Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial and a part of his Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) has a run time of 164 minutes (2 hours and 44 minutes). The movie earned a U/A certification in India by the central censoring board.
Leo is the second collaboration of Lokesh Kanagaraj with the Tamil superstar Vijay after the success of Master in 2021, and the movie presents a star-studded cast catalogue featuring Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Priya Anand, Mansoor Ali Khan, Babu Antony, Baby Iyal, Mathew Thomas, Sandy Master, and many others. Music is done by Anirudh and the movie is produced by Lalit Kumar.
