A major update on Viduthalai: Part 2 has been dropped by the makers today. With a successful critically acclaimed first part, the release of the much-awaited sequel starring Vijay Sethupathi ranks at the top for fans.

Finally, the makers of the much celebrated prequel Viduthalai: Part 1 have decided to unveil its second part on the big screen. The period crime thriller directed by Vetrimaaran will greet fans with a major update tomorrow as the makers will release the first look tomorrow by 11:30 am. The film features Soori along with Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles.

Viduthalai Part 1 received widespread critical acclaim and ended with the promise of a sequel.

Dropping this exclusive update on Instagram along with an intriguing poster with a Thirukkural verse, which reads, “Those who tame not the pride of their enemies, will certainly not exist to have satisfactory breathings.” The makers captioned the poster, “Unveiling the first look of #ViduthalaiPart2 in just one day. Releasing tomorrow at 11:30 AM. Written & Directed by #VetriMaaran.”

The story will take off from where its predecessor left off. The sequel is expected to delve deeper into Vijay’s character, Perumal Vaathiyaar, and his transformation into a prominent rebel leader.

Viduthalai: Part 2 features the same cast as Vijay Sethupathi, Soori, Manju Warrier, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Kishore, Rajiv Menon, and others in important roles. Produced by Grass Root Film Company and RS Infotainment, the music has been scored by Maestro Illaiyaraaja. R. Velraj has been tasked with the film’s cinematography, with Ramar handling the editing process.
