Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is being the sensation of the cinematic action world with her Amazon web series Citadel: Honey Bunny, alongside Varun Dhawan, revealed the difficulties she faced during the shoot.
The actress, who redefined the boundaries of her acting prowess with the high octane action spy thriller, incurred bruises as well during the shoot. She performed a several action sequences and stunts on her own in this project. However, the downside was the concussion she suffered during the shoot.

In her recent interview, Samantha recalled an injury of hers while shooting Citadel: Honey Bunny. Reminiscing the tough phases of the making, the actress shared that she had a concussion where she was completely blanked out and forgotten names after that incident.
To pull off a joke on the incident, the actress added, “Now that I think of it, nobody took me to the hospital. Nobody asked me.” Rest assured guys, the show writer, Sita Menon then clarified that they did have a doctor on call, which Samantha doesn’t remember because of her concussion.

She also added that even when concussed, she wanted to shoot as she knew they only had that location for a limited time but wasn’t allowed to. Samantha said that she could remember hearing words like “We have the set only for less than a day, we need to finish the shoot.” So even in her concussion, she was like “I am coming, people, I am coming”, but when the stunt guy appeared in front of her she went, “What am I doing.”
Slated for November 7 release, this Amazon Prime spy thriller is the adapted version of Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden’s UK series. In addition to Varun and Samantha, the series will also star Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher in pivotal roles.
