Family members alleged that the child was sexually assaulted before being pushed off the roof by the accused.

She was later found lying in a critical condition in a nearby open plot. Locals alerted the family and authorities, and the girl was rushed to a nearby hospital. However, doctors declared her dead.

After the victim’s father filed a complaint, the police set up three special teams to search for the accused. The suspects were located in the Kanwara area after police received a tip-off about their movement.

According to Bulandshahr SP Dr Tejveer Singh, the accused opened fire when police tried to stop them in the industrial area. The police fired back in self-defence, injuring both men in their legs.
