A blast at the Central Security Institute Ordnance Factory in Khamaria, Madhya Pradesh today morning caused several injuries. At least 10 people have sustained injuries in the explosion at the Ordnance factory in Jabalpur district, where bombs and other explosive are manufactured.
Three of the injured are the factory’s staffers and they have been rushed to a private hospital, and the the condition is reported to have been critical, according to a report by NDTV. According to some reports, at least two people have been died and several others are still in the debris, as part of the building has been collapsed in the explosion. Rescue and emergency team is working on the field to rescue the trapped and the situation has been diligently monitored.

The report says a hydraulic system malfunction during the bomb-filling process in building 200 of the factory’s F-6 section caused the blast. The explosion was powerful, which was reportedly heard as far as five kilometers. Assuming the sound to be an earth quake, the residents tried to ran out of their homes.
